Meet the team – Becky Evans
November 2025
Becky Evans joined the Howie, Kent and Co team as a Senior Chartered Surveyor in 2023.

She combined her experience on the family farm and her Dad’s residential sales and lettings business in North Wales and Chester and went on to study Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University, graduating in 2013 with a BSc (Hons).
After graduating, Becky remained in the local area and for the last 10 years has spent her career mainly dealing with Compulsory Purchase and compensation. She has represented in excess of 100 landowners and impacted residents against HS2 Ltd to achieve a fair settlement and allowing them to move on with their lives.
Becky’s main role at Howie, Kent & Co is within the Land Agency and Renewables team. She focusses on representing developers to source both renewable and non-renewable sites across the UK including wind, solar, voltage management other non-renewable infrastructure. Interlinking with this work, Becky works on third party rights over land and continues to represent landowners effected by compulsory purchase schemes.
In addition, Becky supports the commercial property department by managing rural commercial leases, handling renewals, and offering advice as needed.
Becky brings a wealth of experience to the company through her roles within the CAAV (Central Association of Agricultural Valuers) and RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
Since 2020 she has been exam convenor for the West Midlands and Wales branch of the CAAV, has chaired the West Midlands Group of the CAAV and in 2022/2023 was the President of Staffordshire Agricultural Valuers Association. She also sits on the Examination and Education Committee and West Midlands group.
Becky helps manage Howie, Kent & Co’s RICS graduate training program, guiding colleagues through their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) on the path to becoming Chartered Surveyors, thereby supporting the future of the rural industry.
Outside of work, Becky stays busy with her two Cocker Spaniels, Pepper and Tigger, while renovating her home and pursuing her passion for running ultra-marathons.
