We are recruiting – Assistant Surveyor Vacancies (Placement & Graduate Roles)

After introducing our placement scheme three years ago, we are now looking for our fourth student for the 25/26 academic year.

We are looking for a motivated, positive person seeking to progress within the rural property industry. The role would include but not be limited to:

• Site-finding on a national scale for solar and battery projects including planning reviews and liaising with potential landowners
• On-farm commercial lettings
• Commercial lettings

• Planning applications

In addition we would welcome applications from recent Graduates, or those due to complete studies in 2025 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

– Site finding for renewable energy projects, including initial site finding, negotiating with landowners to agree heads of terms and option agreements

– Reporting to senior surveyors

– Planning work

– Commercial lettings

– Landlord and tenant

– Farm agency

Key attributes for these roles:

– Desire to progress within property sector to complete your APC

– Highly organised and good communicator

– Proficient IT skills, particularly to have or develop the ability to use digital mapping systems

– Team player

The roles are full time, based at our newly – built modern offices on our family dairy farm in Shrewsbury Shropshire.
