Trainee Surveyor Placement Opportunity

Howie, Kent & Co is a multi-disciplined surveying firm based five minutes south of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. We provide professional services, commercial lettings and residential lettings to our range of clients across the UK. Established in 2016 by husband and wife team Duncan and Sarah Howie, we now have a twelve-strong work-hard, play-hard driven team including three surveyors, four consultant surveyors, a commercial lettings manager and a residential lettings coordinator. After introducing our placement scheme two years ago, we are now looking for our third student for the 24/25 year.

We are looking for a motivated, positive person seeking to progress within the rural property industry. The role would include but not be limited to:

•          Site-finding on a national scale for solar and battery projects including planning reviews and liaising with potential landowners

•          On-farm commercial lettings

•          Residential lettings

•          Residential property management

•          Planning applications

The role is full time, based at our newly – built modern offices on our family dairy farm.
