Never Split the Difference
The Howie Kent and Co team were back together last week for our quarterly social and to review our recent Book Club Never Split the Difference written by Chris Voss.
Chris recounts his experience as a FBI Investigator and talks through his Five Big Ideas – that negotiation begins with listening, making it about the other people, validating their emotions, and creating enough trust and safety for a real conversation to begin.
We discussed ways in applying the principles to our everyday business, and also used the opportunity to discuss the growing business across all departments.
